FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the dress code?
Formal attire. This is a black-tie-leaning celebration, so think tuxes, evening gowns, and your most polished look. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed to the nines.

Where are the events located?
All wedding-day festivities will be at the Gibbes Museum of Art in the heart of downtown Charleston. As plans settle in, we’ll post timing and any extra details right here.

If you can, come in Friday morning or early afternoon. It gives you time to get settled, wander a bit, and ease into the weekend before the Friday evening festivities begin.
How do I get from the airport to downtown?
Charleston International Airport (CHS) is about 20 minutes away. Taxis, rideshares, and rental cars are all easy to grab once you land.
Is transportation provided on the wedding day?
Everything is happening at the Gibbes Museum, which is an easy walk from our recommended hotels. Parking downtown—especially near the museum—can be tight and pricey, so if you’re not within walking distance, we’d recommend a quick rideshare.
What is the weather like in late October?
Late October in Charleston is usually pretty perfect: mild days in the low 70s and cooler evenings. A light layer for nighttime is a good idea.
